Celebrating Our Caretakers on National Custodial Workers’ Recognition Day

Today, on October 2, we join schools, hospitals, and organizations across the country in recognizing National Custodial Workers’ Recognition Day, a day dedicated to appreciating the incredible work of custodial staff.

At Holy Spirit Catholic School Division, our caretakers do so much more than maintain and clean buildings. They are a daily part of school life, sharing smiles with students, lending a hand in unexpected situations, and reminding us all that care for our community often shows up in the little things.

This year, we are proud to share a few stories that highlight just how much our caretakers contribute to the spirit of our schools:
