École St. Mary is using Spaces EDU!
Spaces is an interactive assessment app that allows students to capture their learning and reflect on growth, anytime and anywhere. It will be a new way of reporting student learning.
Spaces will give you a window into your child’s classroom and into your child’s learning journey. As our staff and students are new to this platform, we will all be learning to make the most of this communication and reporting tool throughout the year. Parents receive an invite from your child’s teacher to join the platform. This platform will be replacing our current report cards.
Parent engagement will be very important to ensure success with Spaces at our school. You can download Spaces for iOS, Android, or use the web to view your child’s learning artifacts. Not only will you be able to see the growth and development of your child as it happens throughout the year, you will be able to comment and provide feedback to your child. It is important that you join the request as we move to this new way of reporting.
We are so excited to share our Spaces journey with you and invite you to engage with your child’s posts.

For the 2022-2023 school year, paper copies will be sent home with students on the last day of school.
For the 2023-2024 school year, final reports will be found online on SPACES.
